Effect of Pectin on Plasma Ammonia in Pigs

摘要 目的 正确评定可溶性纤维———果胶在猪的营养价值。方法 选择体重约2 5kg的健康生长猪4头,在猪的门静脉、颈动脉安装血管插管,采用交叉法,随机分为2组,试验组加入8%果胶,对照组不加果胶,在采食前( 0h)、采食后1、2、3、4、5、6、7h抽取动、静脉血液,测定血氨浓度。结果试验组门静脉血氨浓度低于对照组,在3h时差异有显著意义(P <0 .0 5 ) ;试验组颈动脉血氨浓度与对照组比差异无显著性(P >0 .0 5 ) ;试验组动静脉血氨浓度差在采食后均低于对照组,在1h、3h、4h时差异有显著性(P <0 .0 5 )。结论 在采食后7小时内,果胶有降低猪血氨的作用。 Objective In order to correctly evaluate the nutritional values of the component of soluble fiber-pectin in pigs. Methods Four healthy growing pigs with weighing about 25 kg were fitted with catheters in the hepatic portal vein and carotid artery.Crossover design was used in the experiment. The growing pigs were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment diet was added 8% pectin and the control diet was not added pectin. Blood samples were taken from the portal vein and carotid artery cannulas during the preprandial (0 h) and 1 h, 2 h, 3 h, 4 h, 5 h, 6 h, 7 h postprandial period. Plasma ammonia concentrations of each blood sample were determined. Results The portal plasma ammonia concentration of treatment group was lower than that of control group, but only had significant difference at 3 h (P<0.01). The arterial plasma ammonia had no significant difference (P>0.05) between treatment group and control group. The porto-arterial difference of plasma ammonia in treatment group was lower than that of control group after feeding, but only had significant difference at 1 h,3 h ,4 h (P<0.05 ) . Conclusion Pectin has the effect of decreasing the concentration of plasma ammonia after 7 h postprandial in pigs.
