目前 ,我国工业化处于中期阶段 ,信息化处于起步阶段 ,总体水平偏低 ,而且各地区之间的工业化和信息化的程度差异较大。工业化和信息化都不是发展的终极目标 ,而是实现现代化进程中的一个阶段和加快现代化进程的手段。从中国现代化的各项监测指标来看 ,我国目前现代化的总体水平较低 ,且地区之间的差距较大。当前工业化仍然是实现现代化的主要途径 ,但在现代化建设中不能走传统的工业化道路 。

On foundation towards concept define of industrialization and information. This thesis think the industrialization of China be placed in the inside period stage and information be placed in the start stage. Total level of the industrialization and the information are lowly. There are big differences of the each region. The industrialization and the information are not an ultimate target, but the stage of the realization of modernization and the means of quickening it. Monitor the index sign to measure with the modernization's each item, China total levels of modernization are lower and there are big differences of the each region. The industrialization is still the main path to realize modernization, we can't still walk the tradition's industrialization road in the process of modernization, but we should walk along a new type of industrialization road.
