康奈尔大学图书馆知识管理实践初探 被引量:13

摘要 康奈尔大学图书馆是图书馆界实施知识管理的先行者和成功者。该馆的知识管理实践可以概括为以下几个方面:①发展知识共享文化;②管理工作知识,包括转移最佳实践和共享专门技能;③设计图书馆门户,强化知识存取功能;④改变组织结构,即建立一个新部门IRIS,使知识管理成为可能;⑤改造学术出版;⑥开拓协作型知识管理活动,包括参与组建数字图书馆联盟和从事协作数字参考服务活动。 Cornell University Library is an antecessor and victor compared with institutions of the same trade in carrying out knowl-edge management. This library is enforcing knowledge management from the following aspects: ①developing a culture based on sharingknowledge; ②managing working knowledge, i. e. transferring best practices and sharing special skills; ③designing library gateway toimprove knowledge access; ④changing organization structure, i. e. erecting a new department IRIS, to enable knowledge management;⑤transforming scholarly publishing; ⑥exploiting cooperative knowledge management activities, i. e. forming Digital Library Federationand devoting itself to Collaborative Digital Reference Service.
