“万岁圣·西蒙”:洛杉矶一年一度的中美洲节日
摘要
每年十月下旬，洛杉矶的许多拉丁美洲(裔)人都要参加纪念一位民间圣徒的聚会和游行。这位圣徒名叫圣·西蒙(San Simón)，他在中美洲各地，尤其是在危地马拉(Guaternala)和萨尔瓦多(EI Salvador)可谓闻名遐迩。当地的天主教教堂并不敬奉他。正如一位民间治疗师告诉我们的那样，天主教的圣徒穿宽松的长袍，圣·西蒙则穿长裤。
