Abstract Seventeen cases with dural arteriovenous fistulae of the posterior fossa are reviewed. The etiology, blood supply, clinical features,hemodynamic changes and the endovascular embolization were discussed. Our cases showed. that headache and bruit are the most common presenting symptoms. There is a close relationship between the occluded lateral sinus and the progression of dural AVF. The selective embolization of feeders appear to be beneficial.
