对外直接投资对我国国际贸易的影响——东道国和母国的视角

Influence of Foreign Direct Investment on China's International Trade——Perspective from Home and Host Country

一般研究FDI对贸易的影响都将我国仅仅视为东道国,忽视了我国作为对外投资母国的角色。近年来我国对外投资规模变化很大,对国际贸易规模的影响已不容忽视。本文以帕特瑞(P.Patric)提出的理论(不同动因FDI对国际贸易规模有不同影响)作为基础,纠正了片面认为我国对外直接投资是产业升级所致的看法,从理论和实证两方面在最新数据的基础上分别分析了内外向直接投资对进出口总额、进口额和出口额的影响,得出了与前人不同的结论,更贴近现实,也更具有前瞻性。

<Abstrcat>In China,inward foreign direct investment(FDI)has affected the international trade scale alot;therefore,common researches concerning the influence of FDI on international trade only regard China as the host country(recipient),and ignore its role of home country(outward investor).However,in recent years, as the economic rapid development,as well as the facilitations of the government ,direct investment abroad has been increasing sharply,whose influence on the international trade can not be neglected any more.This paper synthetically analyzes the motivations of the inward and outward FDI based on the theory proposed by P.Patric (Distinct incentives have different impact on the international trade.);furthermore,empirically and quantitatively illustrates the effect of FDI inflows and outflows on the scope of total international trade ,import and export ,perceiving China as both home and host country.
