The exploration of safety of traditional Chinese medicine containing aristolochic acid

目的探讨含马兜铃酸中药的安全性,为临床合理用药提供参考。方法通过检索国内外公开发表的文献和各国官方网站,收集与马兜铃酸有关的不良反应病例,分析其安全性。结果与马兜铃酸有关的不良反应主要为肾损害,部分病例出现尿道上皮癌。结论临床应重视含马兜铃酸药物的潜在肾毒性,保障人民用药安全。

Objective To explore the safety of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) containing aristolochic acid in order to its rational drug use. Method Searching published literatures and website associated with aristolochic acid toxicities both domestic and abroad and analyzing them. Results The main ADR related to aristolochic acid is nephropathy, urothelial cancer being found on some patients. Conclusion More attentions should be paid on the potential risk of TCM containing aristolochic acid to protect patients.
