摘要
本研究报告了１６例前列腺增生（ＢＰＨ）患者、１８例前列腺炎患者和２９例不同年龄正常男性前列腺按摩液（ＥＰＳ）内总胆固醇、非酯化胆固醇测定结果。显示前列腺内胆固醇组成与血浆不同，以游离形式为主；ＢＰＨ患者ＥＰＳ内胆固醇异常增高，结果提示游离胆固醇在腺体内的积聚与ＢＰＨ等病理状态有关，降前列腺胆固醇药物对ＢＰＨ可能具有一定的治疗价值。
The content of total and unesterifiedcholesterol was quantitated in expressed pro-static
secretion(EPS)of 16 patients with be-nign prostatic hypertrophy(BPH),18 patientswith prostatitis
and 29 normal men with dif-ferent ages. It was found that free cholesterolpredominated in the
prostate and cholesterolin EPS of patients with BPH was supranor-mal.It is suggested that
accumulation of unes-terified cholesterol in the prostate be involvedin pathogenesis of BPH and
cholesterol-lower-ing drugs on the prostate be clinically valuablein treatment of BPH.
