略论古代小说序跋中的出版史料

A Brief Comment on the Publishing Historical Materialsof the Ancient Novels' Prefaces and Postscripts

古代小说序跋 ,是由小说作者或与作者、作品有密切关系的人所撰写的 ,也还有的是后代的人研究或梓行作品时所撰著的 ,保存了一些珍贵的小说史料。若从小说编撰史和小说出版史的角度来看 ,这些序跋文字又是最鲜活、最可信 ,也是最重要的编辑出版史料 ,对于研究中国古代编辑出版史是很有价值的。本文从古代小说的笔记、话本、章回、总集四类中 ,选录若干简短的序跋 ,节录篇幅较长序跋中的相关文字 ,以期窥斑而见豹 。

There are some rare historical materials in the pref aces and postscript s of the ancient novels, which were written by the authors or those who were rel ated to the authors or the works, or by the descendants who researched or publis hed the works. From the angle of the editing and publishing history of the nove ls, these narratives are the most active, most believable and the most important historical materials of editing and publishing, and it is very valuable for the research of the ancient Chinese history of editing and publishing. This paper s elects some brief prefaces and postscripts or related expressions from the class ifications of notes, words, chapters and collections, in order to understand the numerous historical materials of publishing and its value.
