Application of GIS Visualization to MIS

基于对地理信息系统和管理信息系统两大核心技术的不断掌握和完善,将二者融会贯通构建城市综合信息平台已成为城市信息化建设发展的必然趋势。文章从GIS可视化技术的特征分析入手,以广电GIS-MIS系统和GeoWindows系统的结构、空间数据处理、数据库的构建以及在广播电影电视信息的采集查询、统计等方面的功能实现为例,介绍了GIS可视化技术在管理信息系统界面开发中的关键技术,并给出了相应的建设性结果,最后展示了GIS可视化技术在管理信息系统中的应用前景。

Based on the continually gr asping and advancing of the core techniques about GIS and MIS, it has been an inevitable tendency to construct city compreh ensive information platform by two of them. This paper first discusses the chara cteristics of GIS (geographical information system) visualization techniques and takes it as an example that how to use GeoWindows to accomplish the radio film and television information's query and statistic for the China SARFT (The State Adm inistration of Radio Film and Television), concluding the key methods of applyin g GIS visualization technique on MIS interface development, presenting the corre lative results and introducing the realization of GIS-MIS in brief.
