摘要
每个民族既有自己的语言 ,又有自己的文化 ,语言与文化密不可分。本文从语言习得的角度界定文化的基本特征 ,用“语言习得”和“文化习得”两个概念描述“跨文化交际能力”在外语教学中的功能与作用。
The article explores the linkage between language learning and culture learning under the framework of cultural studies. The contention is that proficiency in language performance relies on familiarity with cultural codes that underlay the discursive structure. The process of language learning is, therefore, a cultural encoding.
