苏北地区在地理环境、历史条件和悠久文化等因素的相互作用和积淀过程中,形成了勇于开创、坚韧向上、诚信直爽、博纳众采等带有区域特色的传统人文精华。激发、弘扬这些宝贵的人文遗产,对于加快苏北地区的经济文化发展、促进全省“两个率先”目标的顺利实现,具有重要的现实意义。

The traditional cultural distillate with regional features such as initiation, tenacity, honesty, collecting widely and so forth, has been formed in the course of reciprocity and deposition of geography, history and long-standing culture in the north of Jiangsu province. It will be of realistic significance to stimulate and develop these valuable legacies for the improvement of economy and culture in this area and the realization of Two Lead in the whole Jiangsu province.
