试论中西方思维方式差异在文化上的体现

Differences of Chinese & Western Ways of Thinking and Their Embodiment in Culture

不同的文化背景,孕育不同的思维方式和文化特征。这里通过对中西方思维方式的比较分析,揭示了中国人偏好于形象思维和综合思维、比较注重“统一”,而西方人偏好于抽象思维或逻辑思维、分析思维,同时比较注重“对立”的文化差异性。在此基础上,分别就形成这些差异的原因进行了剖析。

The differences in cultures will inevitably lead to those in cultural features and ways of thinking. This paper makes a comparative study on the differences of Chinese and Western ways of thinking, pointing out that the Chinese way of thinking stresses on images and on overall and unified impressions, while the Westerners pay more attention to logic, analyzing and the opposite side of things. Besides, it makes a detailed analysis to the reasons that lead to such differences.
