Effect evaluation of health education about Type 2 diabetes in Ningbo urban area

目的 探索人际传播为主的健康教育对2型糖尿病患者及其亲属防治知识、信念、行为的改变效果。方法 随机抽样确定12 3例2型糖尿病患者及其35岁以上一级亲属作为干预对象,4 1例患者及其亲属作对照。在干预前后进行问卷调查。结果 干预社区患者及其亲属知识得分较干预前有明显提高,“态度”和“行为”得分提高不明显,同期,对照社区患者及其亲属“知识”、“态度”和“行为”得分变化不大。结论 人际传播手段在糖尿病健康教育中具有重要作用,但需要长期持续地进行。

Objective To explore the influence of health education based on personal communication on the change of knowledge, attitude and practice among Type 2 diabetes patients and their relatives. Methods One hundred and twenty three patients with Type 2 diabetes and their close relatives aged over 35 years were selected as the intervention objects while another 41 patients and their corresponding relatives as control by random sampling. A questionnaire survey was done before and after intervention. Results The average scores of knowledge in intervention group were higher than the control group significantly. The average scores of attitude and behavior were improved slightly. At the same time, the change of the control group's knowledge and attitude was little. Conclusion The method of personal communication is playing an important role in diabetes health education and need to be persisted for a long period time.
