中印合作新目标:建立自由贸易区

The Establishment of Free Trade Zone: An Expected New Cooperation between China and India

2005年4月温家宝总理访问印度后,中印两国关系进入了一个新的发展时期,两国同意建立和平与繁荣的战略伙伴关系,在经贸合作方面,建立中印自由贸易区已经提上议事日程。在目前经济区域化和全球化的发展趋势下,建立自由贸易区是中印实现全面合作的理想突破口:能有效促进两国贸易的增长,促进两国在地区和国际事务中的合作。

Since Premier Wen Jiabao of China visited India in April, 2005, China and India have entered a new period of development because the two countries have agreed to become strategic partners for mutual prosperity and peace. As for business and trade, the establishment of Free Trade Zone has been on the agenda. In the process of economical regionalization and globalization, the establishment of Free Trade Zone should be an ideal breakthrough in their cooperation because it will help promote the trade of the two countries as well as their cooperation in the regional and international affairs.
