Korean War: From A Geopolitical Perspective

1950-1953年的朝鲜战争,同历史上发生在朝鲜半岛或者与朝鲜半岛密切相关的其他国际冲突具有一定的相似性,即在很大程度上属于陆权国家与海权国家之间的较量。这是由于朝鲜半岛独特的地缘政治地位。冷战时期爆发的朝鲜战争虽然有着很浓厚的意识形态斗争色彩,但是在一定意义上说,它也是历史上围绕着朝鲜半岛的地缘政治斗争的延续。

The Korean War (1950-1953), is quite similar to the previous international conflicts which occurred either on the Korean peninsula or had close connections with the peninsula. That is to say, they are all the struggles between a sea power and a land power. That is mainly due to the geopolitical location of the Korean peninsula. To some extent, the Korean War is the reflection of the logic of geopolitical struggles on or over the Korean peninsula.
