On the Analysis,Comparison and Synthesis of the Theories about the Relationship between Unemployment and Inflation

失业与通货膨胀关系理论是对西方国家各个历史时期经济现实的客观反映和合理解释,它们都具有“片面的科学性”和“科学的片面性”。如果本着“分析、比较与综合”的态度和方法,把所有各派的理论有机地结合起来时,就会得到一个更完整、更全面的关于失业与通货膨胀关系的理论体系。由此可见,“分析、比较与综合”是一种科学的认知态度和行之有效的学习、教学和研究方法。

The theories of relationship between unemployment and inflation proposed by J.M.Keynes himself, Keynes School and Monetary School as well as Rational Expectation School are the objective reflections and reasonable interpretations to economic realities of western countries in different historical periods. All of these four typical kinds of theories in Macro-Economics have “unilateral scientific” and “scientific one-sidedness”. In line with the analytical ,comparative and synthetic attitude and way, combining all the theories together organically, we would probably get a more complete and overall theory about the relationship between unemployment and inflation. This shows that “comparison, analysis and synthesis” is the best way of studying, teaching and researching Economics.
