This paper made a statistical analysis on the cardigan's popular trend and the collar's popular trend, discussed in detail the developing trend of round collar, open-wing collar, medium spread collar, V-shape collar, opening V-shape collar, medium-high collar, roll-neck collar, large collar, straight neckline, U-shape collar, halter neck, rolled collar and stand collar. In addition, this paper also discussed the influence of cardigan's popular trend on the collar types and put forward the innovation of cardigan collar design.
