摘要
从移动性支持的角度,介绍了当前的移动IPv4技术和新一代的移动IPv6的异同。在此基础上,讨论了移动主机切换过程现有的几类技术及其工作原理,如IPv4的低延迟切换技术和IPv6的无缝切换技术,以及MIPv6的层次切换技术。文章将提高移动切换性能途径归纳为分组缓存、组播和由第2层移动触发切换的技术,并提出路径绑定注册和地址簿通知两项方案,最后讨论了移动IP今后发展的方向。
<Abstrcat> As viewed from the mobility support of data terminals in the network layer, the similarities of IPv4 and IPv6 and the differences between current IPv4 and the next generation IPv6 on mobility support are introduced. Based on that, the handover procedure is discussed, which is the fundamental of Mobile IP implementation. The principles of the proposed handover techniques are presented, including low-latency handover for IPv4, fast handover and smooth handover for IPv6, and hierarchy handover for HMIPv6. Effective methods of improving handover performance as grouping buffer memory, multicast and L2-trigger handover are presented. Path binding/register and address book informing schemes are (proposed) and the developing direction is indicated.
