果戈理与鲁迅:民族“文化英雄”的赞颂者

Gogol and Lu Xun: Outstanding Authors Praising National Spirit and Culture Hero

鲁迅的《故事新编》与果戈理的《狄康卡近乡夜话》都反映了作者与所在民族和故乡文化的深刻联系。乌克兰民族的伟大作家果戈理在作品中展示了本民族的性格,塑造了民族文化英雄形象而表现出复仇精神;植根于中华民族浙东文化的鲁迅在作品中也塑造了具有故乡文化性格的英雄,这些英雄埋头苦干,为民请命,有着强烈的复仇精神。虽然两位作家出生在不同的民族和时代,但他们都把最深的感情献给了故乡和民族,都竭力赞颂了本民族的"文化英雄"。

Lu Xun's 'Old Tales Retold' and Gogol's 'Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka'show strong connection with the national culture. In his work an outstanding Russian writer of Ukrainian origin Mikola Gogol depicts national character, spirit of revenge and draws the image of culture hero of the Ukrainian nation, which was oppressed for centuries. Lu Xun's connection with the local culture of Shaoxing and Eastern Zhejiang appears in central stories of 'Old Tales Retold' and shows an image of a hardworking, pleading in the name of the people national hero, and final triumph of his spirit of revenge. Although authors come from very different historical and cultural backgrounds, but they both express their deepest feelings towards national culture and praise the culture hero.
