Research on Fuel Consumption Measurement Using Carbon Balance Method

分别利用碳平衡法和油耗仪对不同车辆进行了等速和变工况百公里油耗测量。测试结果表明,两种方法测量的一致性很好,可以互相代替使用,并分析了测试误差来源和提高试验测量精度的相关注意事项。

The carbon balance method is an efficient method to calculate the fuel consumption. This paper discuss two me- thods, the carbon balance and fuel consumption analyzer, to measure the fuel consumption for different vehicles. On the base of measuring the fuel consumption of variant-mode and constant-driving speed. The test results show that the carbon balance method can be used to substitute fuel consumption analyzer for measuring fuel consumption. Moreover, it analyzes the reason of test tolerance and how to improve the measuring response.
