The lightning protection methods and standards for aerial cable lines are introduced. The measures and correct operation regulations that should be taken in the project construction of lightning protection set-ups are also presented. These will be helpful to enhance the transmission quality of aerial cable lines, ensure the security of equipment and personnel and maintain smooth communications.
