飞廉考

A Study on Feilian

飞廉是春秋时期晋国世家大族赵氏的祖先,也是颇具争议的一位历史人物。本文通过钩稽史料,并借助地下出土资料,对飞廉的政治作为及其族居地进行考辨,从而认定他是商代末期力挽政治狂澜的风云人物。

Feilian is a controversial historical figure among the ancestors of the Zhao family, one of the aristocratic families of the Jin State in the Spring and Autumn Period. By searching after historical data and unearthed materials, the author investigated the native land of Feilian’s family, studied his political activities in late Shang Dynasty, and then put forward that he was a man of great influence who tried to save the waning Shang Dynasty.
