欠发达地区院校专业英语教学策略探讨

A Discussion on English Teaching Strategies for English Majors in Underdeveloped Areas

为了从英语是母语的外籍教师的角度了解欠发达地区院校英语专业学生的英语总体水平,笔者对长期在我国欠发达地区院校从事英语教学的外籍教师进行了一次问卷调查,旨在从另一个角度对这些地方院校专业英语教学效率不太尽人意所产生的原因进行调查与分析,探讨这些院校英语专业教学发展一些值得借鉴的相关教学方法、策略和建议。

In order to know the English majors' level from the view of English native speakers in some teachers' college in underdeveloped areas, the author made a questionnaire survey designed by the VSO teachers, who have been teaching there for years. The purpose of the survey is to research and analyze the causes of the unsatisfactory teaching effect in the areas, probes into some adoptable methods and tactics, and puts forward some suggestions for the English teaching in these areas.
