"三个代表"的发展观具有战略性、开放性、重点性、全面性、可持续性和人民性的特征。"三个代表"的发展观,把发展放在党执政兴国"第一要务"的战略地位;具有强烈的开放意识;突出重点,以经济建设为中心;坚持促进社会的全面进步;提出中国实现现代化必须走可持续发展道路;把推进人的全面发展作为社会发展的最终目标。

The development view of the important thought of 'Three Represent's' has characteristics of strategy, openness, emphasis, comprehension, sustainability and the affinity to the people. It puts the development on the first place of our Party's urgent tasks, which shows the clear idea of opening up to the outside world with economic construction as its central task. This development view means to stimulate the comprehensive promotion of our society, to go forward along the road of sustainable development and to help develop people in an all-round way as its utmost goal of the social development.
