文章从三个方面讨论了英语成语的语言特点,即英语成语语言的独特性、英语成语语言的语义特征及英语成语存在的几种类型。旨在通过对英语成语这三方面的研究,进一步提高我们用英语成语进行语言交际的能力。

This paper discusses the some specific properties of English idioms in three ways, namely, the language uniqueness of English idioms, the semantic characteristics of English idioms and the types of English idioms. Through the study of these aspects of English idioms, we can increase our ability to communicate in language.
