People think the classroom instruction is the most ideal form in school teaching.The level of the classroom instruction result determines the efficiency of the whole English teaching,whereas how to do in the classroom is edtemined by English teachers' guidelines and actual teaching ability.This paper probes into effective ways of teaching This is English I students,beginning with an analysis of students' learning problems and showing that students' self-confidence and teaching methods' suitability are importhant factors for effective teaching.
