A method used for the isolation and purification of total RNA from the hyphostroma of Ganoderma lucidum was reported. No complicated instrument and expensive reagents were required in this simple and high-efficient method, and the quality of the harvested total RNA is good enough to satisfy the requirements of the molecular biology experiments.
