铜杆的制造方法不同，铜杆内氧化亚铜粒子的粗细和数量也就不同，从而影响了拉线性能．在氧化亚铜粒子细且少时，对降低拉线断头率有利．改平模铸锭为连续铸锭是一种易于实现的改进方法。
There are various manufacture processes of copper wire rod and also viarious sizes andquantities of Cu_2O particles in copper．As a result，there will be various structures and prop-erties of drawing of rod，Smaller and fewer Cu_2Oparticles will be helpful to for reduce frac-ture rate of drawing. An improvement of wire bar casted by horizontal mould to billet castedby horizontal continuous process is easy to achieve.
