The structure and features of ZPG-40 disk vacuum filter are presented, and its application status in Taihe Iron Mine is described. The cake residual moisture content of ZPG-40 disk vacuum filter is less than 9.5%, which is reduced by 1.50 percent point compared with GYW-12 cartridge filter. The filter coefficient is 1000kg/m^2, which is increased by over 30% compared with GYW-12 cartridge filter. The annual benefit is over 914500 yuan.
