On the Role of Continual Education in the Establishment of a Learning Society

党在十六大提出了创建终身学习的学习型社会的目标。发展继续教育,创建学习型社会是补充与更新知识、建设小康社会、实现人生价值的需要。继续教育具有社会性和灵活性,是终身教育体系的重要组成部分,在创建学习型社会的过程中起着举足轻重的作用。

The goal to establish a learning society of life-long learning has been put forward in the 16th council of CPC .To develop continual education and establish a learning society is the requirement of replenishing and renewing knowledge,of building a well-off society and of realizing the value of life .Continual education with sociality and flexibility is an important part of life-long education ,and plays a decisive role in the process of building a learning society.
