An Integrated Strategy of Packet Fair Scheduling in Wireless Network

设计了一个集中式和分布式的分组公平排队混合机制来解决无线分组网络中的资源公平调度问题.集中式公平控制采用了传统算法WFQ和SBFA的混合策略;分布式公平控制是在通信协议IEEE802.11中分布式协调功能(DCF)的基础上,加载公平调度机制来实现.混合调度策略可以保证在无线分组网络中,对多个移动主机上的多个分组流,在短期和长期、局部和全局的范围内信道资源的公平使用和共享.

This paper presents an integrated scheme of Centralized and Distributed Packet Fair Scheduling which is effective to solve the problem of fair scheduling of resource in wireless packet network. The centralized scheme utilizes an integrated scheme of WFQ and SBFA which are often adopted for fair queuing in wireless network. The distributed scheme is designed on the basis of distributed corresponding function (DCF) in communication protocol IEEE802. 11. For multiple packets flows in multiple mobile hosts, the integrated strategy can assure resource fair scheduling in not only long - term or short - term but also local or global network.
