Several unconventional forms for location of the inserts of the moving and fixed halves of the injection mould for forming the round pedestals are introduced with examples.These location forms can be achieved by simple machining process,and the assembly operations for these locations are easy and reliable.These location forms can be served as a reference for the design of the inserts of the moving and fixed halves of other moulds.
