Hu Feng, People's Outstanding Editor

作为编辑家的胡风,有数十年的历史、经验,有自己的探索创造和巨大成就。他继承鲁迅的传统,建立了富有个性色彩的一整套编辑方针、策略和方法:思想与艺术并重,不断地发现和培育新人,以新现实主义为导向,用刊物团结志同道合者,共创一个影响深远的文学流派,为民族解放、人民革命和中国现代文学的建设做出了卓越的贡献。

Hu Feng was an experienced editor with creative mind and remarkable achievements. Inspired by Lu Xun, his editorial policies were characterized with his own thoughts. Hu encouraged new ideas and arts of literature, and supported many people with great interests in editorial work. Hu created a school of Neo-Realist literature thus made a great contribution to the national liberation, people's revolution and Chinese contemporary literature.
