释殷墟甲骨文中的“骝”

A study on the character liu(骝) inscribed oracle bones in Yin Ruins

殷墟甲骨文中有一个从马、从牢的字,过去的学者一般都把它看作是“牢”字。本文根据新出土的新蔡葛陵楚墓竹简,认为它是一个从马、牢声的字,读作“骝”。

A character of liu(骝)about Inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells of Yin Dynasty ruins are mainly discussed in the present paper .It was regarded as 'lao' (牢) by some researches in the past years . According to the newly bamboo slips from chu tombs of Xincai Henan province ,the author thinks the word should be translared for'liu'(骝).
