莫言继承了古典中国鬼魅叙事的传统,建立了属于自我的鬼魅小说世界。这个鬼魅世界由在野之鬼与祖先之鬼组成,在野之鬼是今世的人相,祖先之鬼是前生的人相,二者互为印证,共同构成了由表及里的人生世界。
By inheriting the tradition of classical Chinese narration of ghosts and goblins, Mo Yan has created in his novels a world of ghosts and goblins. Such a world of ghosts and goblins, which comprises the ghosts present and past with the former representing the present people and the latter the people of previous ages and confirming each other, has reflected the world of human life to a large extent.
