On the Impact Brought by Russia's Entry into WTO upon Sino-Russian Economy

WTO对国际贸易的发展起着决定性作用,加入WTO将使俄罗斯经济融入世界经济主流,给俄罗斯经济发展带来全新的机遇和挑战。近年来俄罗斯经济一直保持增长势头,俄罗斯加入WTO后,将以其独特条件和巨大商机吸引全世界企业同台竞技并对经济发展产生重大影响。中国是俄罗斯的近邻并已加入WTO,俄罗斯加入WTO也将对中俄经贸关系产生一系列影响,面对机遇与挑战,中国应制定相应经济策略。

The WTO plays a decisive role in the development of international trade. Russia's entry into the WTO will integrate her economy into the main stream of the world economy and bring about fresh challenges as well as opportunities. In the past years Russia's economy has maintained an upward trend. After her entry into the WTO, her special circumstances and enormous investment opportunities will enable her to attract businesses from all over the world to compete, which, in turn, will exert significant impact on her economic development. China is a next-door neighbour of Russia and has become a member of WTO. Her economic and trading relationship with Russia will also be affected by the latter's entry into WTO. Confronted with these new opportunities and challenges, China will need to find corresponding economic strategies.
