周人重农, 周天子举行亲耕仪式, 是西周时代重要的公共性政治礼仪。礼以乐成, 乐必有歌。从诗本文所体现的时代文化内涵来看,《周颂》中的《载芟》、《良耜》、《噫嘻》、《臣工》, 就是周成王时用于藉田仪式的乐歌。
