Nanjing Regime Governed by GMD in Name but Controlled in Fact by JIANG Jie-shi Government (1927-1937)

蒋介石南京政府名义上是国民党统治下的政权。然而在这个政权中,国民党的权力、所掌握的政治资源却受到有意的制度性限制,远不能达到垄断政权的程度。政府是权力的中心,军事力量也逐步独立于党。从党政关系看,党不敌政;从党军关系看,党不“统”军。

JIANG Jie-shi Nanking government is reined by GMD in name. However in this regime, GMD’s power and political resource are systematically limited and far from monopolization. The power concentrates not on GMD but on government. With regard to relationship of GMD and national government, the government has more strength than GMD.Concerning relationship of GMD and nation’s military force, GMD does not control the army. Taking some crucial factors into account, Nanking JIANG Jie-shi regime makes GMD weaken and disable designedly.
