How to Understand and Express Proper Meanings of Words in Translation between English and Chinese

翻译应以逻辑学为理论基础,开展对翻译理论与翻译方法的研究。尤其在翻译文章时,选用词语和组织译文,必须以上下文逻辑活动的分析作为重要的依据之一,才能正确地选择词义从而忠实地表达原文的内容。

In order to study translation theory and methods, logic should be used as a theoretic basis in translation process. While translating essays either in English or in Chinese, particularly being in the process of choosing right words and meanings,we must pay much attention to the context. Therefore, we can get right words in right places to reflect the contents of the original faithfully.
