In2004,Thailand stood the test of both natural disasters such as bird flu and tsunami and man-made calamity like turmoil by the Muslim separatists in the South and the soaring rise of oil price,however,it still made steady development in its national economy.Its success rests on the fact that it kept its domestic political stability,expanded its cooperation with ASEAN and persisted in keeping strategic partnership with China.
