America-Iran Relations before World War Ⅱ

在第二次世界大战以前,美国和伊朗之间的交往是非常少的。那时对伊朗影响最大的外部国家是英国和俄国。虽然伊朗领导人有意把美国吸引到自己的国家,以抗衡英国和苏联给自己造成的巨大压力,但是因为相距遥遥,而且当时美国在伊朗也没有足够多的利益值得它冒与英苏对抗的危险,所以在第二次世界大战以前,美伊关系只是停留在相当低的层面上。

Before world war Ⅱ,America and Iran had no affinity. At that time British and Russia(Soviet) were the two principal countries impacting on Iran. Then Iran's leaders wanted to draw American attention to their country, but America had not enough interests to do that. In addition, American leaders saw through the opposing party's true contemplation, Iranian wanted to utilize American force to oppose British and Russia(Soviet). In this way, America-Iran relations were very ecumenical before world war Ⅱ.
