跨文化交际越来越受到诸多学者、教师及有关人士的重视,它不仅是语言综合运用的一个主要环节,也是英语教学的一个主要内容。通过论述跨文化交际在英语教学中的重要性和必要性,分析、解读了在跨文化交际中出现的种种涉及文化和语用方面的失误,提出了解决教学中过分注重语言知识问题的建议和应采取的措施。

Nowadays, cross-cultural communication has been paid greater attention to by scholars, teachers and other personnel. It is not only a major process of language competence, but also an important content of language teaching. By analyzing the significance of cross-cultural communication in English language teaching, the author illustrates different kinds of cultural and pragmatic mistakes in cross-cultural communication. Finally, suggestions to solve overemphasis of linguistic knowledge are put forward.
