朱熹对中国知识分子病态的剖析

Analysis of Zhuxi’s that Morbid State of Chinese Intellectual

朱熹认为“躬行不力”是中国知识分子一种很严重的病态表现。知识分子既是社会的大脑,也是统治阶层的后备队,若是知识分子说的一套,做的又是一套,口是心非,不能务实而争虚名,则社会很难长治久安。朱熹对这种病态的危害性和层次性作了扼要深刻的分析,指出知识分子必须切实追求理想,躬行力究,从下学而上达,从日用而天道,体用浑然,内圣外王。

Zhuxi thinks that powerless on practice what one preaches is very serious morbid state of Chinese intellectual. The intellectual is not only social brains, but also the ruling class reserve forces. If they failed to keep faith,they can not deal with concrete matters relating to work, but strive for fame and wealth, so that it is very difficult to be stable for a long time. He also points out what is the harmfulness and different gradation. He hopes that any intellectual have to practice what one preaches, from one thing to one thing, from theory to practice, at last, to achieve the goal of the unity of knowing and doing .
