南通范氏家族系北宋名臣范仲淹直系后裔,历经明、清、民国直至当代450余年间,绵延13代,代代出诗人,薪传火继,从未中断。南通范氏诗文世家在东西方家族史、文学史上都是一个奇迹。范氏十三代诗文创作,历经了开创期、三个高峰期、相对低谷期和平稳发展期,波浪式推进到当代。经过漫长的演化、补充和丰富,形成了该家族特有的家风、诗风、文风,积累深厚文化意蕴和历史内涵,造就了一种罕见的文化现象。
The Fan's families of Nantong were descendants of the famous official Fan Zongyan and had got 13 generations from Ming, Qing and the Republic of China. They were a miracle in the histories of family trees and literature. The h'terary creation of these thirteen generations kept their own styles.
