A Study of the “Flying Geese” Clustering Strategy for Wuhan’s Manufacturing Industries

振兴武汉制造业,建设武汉制造业基地,是新世纪武汉经济发展的第一要务,是实现工业强市的核心和关键。发展武汉制造业应实施雁头、雁翼、雁尾连为一体,牵引力、集聚力和推动力“三力”合聚,点、片、面相结合的雁行产业集群战略。做到分步实施,梯度推进,形成以产业龙头企业为核心,带动相关、配套企业集聚构成产业群,最终带动武汉周边城市的产业发展和经济腾飞。

To revive Wuhan’s manufacturing industries is of first importance to the city’s economic development in the new century. To achieve this goal, the “flying geese” clustering strategy should be adopted, such as: coordination of the goose’s head, wings, and tail; combination of traction, clustering force, and motive force; integration of local and general development.
