The importance of construction-controlling engineering in water-bordering area in Taiyuan City to improvement of urban ecologic environment and enhancement of disaster-prevention capacity was explained,The viewpoint was presented that the ecologic construction with large area is necessary for social progress and economic drvelopment and is still an inexorable trend in raising environmental quality and promoting sustainable development of urbs.
