专科英语专业应重视语音课教学

Phonetic course should be stressed in English major at college

由于中小学生习得的语音知识不够具有系统性,而它在大学时期英语学习尤其是自习中起着十分重要的作用,在英语专业大专新生刚入学时开设英语语音课程显得非常有必要。尽早地开设语音课程既可以完善学生的语音知识,又能纠正学生的发音,还能帮助学生进行英语自学,也是提高各项英语技能的基础。

Phonetics, which plays an important role in college English learning, is not taught in a systematic way in primary school and middle school, so it is very necessary to start the phonetic course in the first semester at college. To start the phonetic course earlier not only increases students' phonetic knowledge, but also corrects their wrong pronunciation, and helps develop their ability in self-study and improve their other English skills.
