Problems with the Sticky Corn Cultivars in Regional Trails and Suggestions for Breeding

从2004年通过国家审定的几个糯玉米品种国家黄淮海鲜食玉米区试结果可以看出,当前育成的糯玉米存在一些问题,建议今后糯玉米育种中注意蒸煮品质、抗病虫性和产量方面的改善。

Based on the result of regional trails for table sticky corn cultivars conducted in 2004, the problems existed with newly developed sticky corn cultivars were discussed. It was suggested that the future sticky corn breeding should pay attention to the improvement of cooking quality, pest and disease resistance and yield.
