死亡意识是陈映真审美创作中的一种挥之不去的情意结，它以复杂多元的形态在小说文本中“诗意”地凸现出来。死亡意识的言说基本上形成了一种固定的审美模式，即作家笔下的人物角色走入“死亡”王国的心路历程都重复着“追求·希望——苦闷·失落——负罪·绝望——堕落·死亡”的轨迹图式。死亡意识的成因，一方面是受存在主义的严重影响，另一方面是与作家的两次死别经验有关。
Death consciousness is a kind of emotion in Chen-Yingzhen’s creation,which is roman- ticly displayed with several forms.The describing about death has taken shape a fixed model,namely the thought course that his leading character in novel who is going to be dead always repeats the locus of"seek·hope→depress·lose→be culpable·despair→degenerate·be dead".The cause of forma- tion of death consciousness consists of beth the grave influence by existentialism and the two experi- ence about leaving each other for death.
